7:30 a.m.
Brian shows me how to make my own wheatgrass juice, which has all the
fragrant smells of freshly mowed grass! I learn how special wheatgrass
is. It contains virtually all the trace minerals, vitamins, living enzymes,
proteins, and chlorophyll the human body needs! Some people frown while
drinking it, but I swirl it around in my mouth and swallow it focusing
on how it nurtures my insides.
8:30
a.m., time for breakfast. It is a wonderful papaya smoothie — it was made
with island grown papaya. I'm eating it slowly, savoring every
mouthful. Tomorrow we'll have a delicious banana-buckwheat cereal and
discuss eating techniques after breakfast.
After
a full morning of classes about Living Foods, enzymes, and our digestive
system, its 12:30 PM, lunchtime! The kitchen staff has prepared a tasty
meal: almond paté and dehydrated crackers served with a mouth-watering
salad featuring sunflower and buckwheat greens. Energy Soup (the healthiest
most digestible food on the planet), a staple healing food at the Center,
is served at every meal. The meal is food for my soul! As the enzymes
enrich my body, the taste satisfies my cravings for other foods. After
lunch, I rest while my new friends take a leisurely walk and a swim on
the sun-drenched Caribbean beaches.
At 4:00
PM, classes resume. The topic is colon care and how to give yourself an
enema. Being new to self-care of the colon, the teacher eases my fears
as she reviews the enormous contributions enemas can make to help my body
to detoxify.
5:30
PM, I join my classmates for a light dinner of Energy Soup topped with
a small amount of tasty dressing. It's been a great day and I feel great!
Now I'm off for my sunset walk along the beach.
Does
it get any better than this? Yes, 10 more days in paradise and I'll graduate
with my Living Foods Lifestyle® certificate in hand. Most importantly,
I am gaining a feeling that I am in control of my own health and destiny
through my actions. Tonight is a free night, but my schedule tells me
I can look forward to evening sessions on relaxation and self-esteem later
in the week. It looks like I made a terrific (and healthy!) vacation
choice.
