Learn how to grow wheatgrass The Ann Wigmore Natural Health Institute is a non-profit school dedicated to teaching Dr. Ann Wigmore's Living Food Lifestyle through our one and two week educational programs. You will receive a beautiful certificate as proof of accomplishment in completing either of these certification programs in the Living Food Lifestyle.
The knowledge gained in the core certification programs will provide you with enough insight and "hands on learning" to continue the lifestyle at home. You may share this valuable information with family and friends.
Please inquire about our one week retreat programs. These programs are offered periodically. A staff member can help you plan a personalized healing retreat. We welcome our past graduates to come and refresh their knowledge and commitment to their health journey.
New students are encouraged to take one of our core certification programs, however, if you wish, you may decide to take a reduced class schedule (without certification) to allow more time for relaxation. A staff member can assist you in making your program personal.
Program Descriptions
This signature program provides a comprehensive learning experience that includes The Basics of the Living Food Lifestyle® (first week) and Enhancing the Living Food Experience (second week) courses. Everything you need to know about Living Foods is covered and a Certificate of Completion is presented to those who complete this program. The Living Foods Lifestyle® Two Week Certification Program is for everyone wanting to learn all about Living Foods for themselves and loved ones, and for health care professionals who want an excellent understanding of this lifestyle to offer their clients and patients. We designed this program to give you the choice of taking both courses back to back or, if your time is limited, experience any one course at a time; however we strongly suggest that you take the Basics week first. If you do decide to take the enhancing second week first; there will be a nominal orientation fee.
Come learn how and why Living Foods work. In this first week course, you will enter into the self-healing process, and begin to cleanse and rejuvenate. All essential aspects of the Living Foods Lifestyle® will be covered such as the many uses of wheatgrass, the value of Energy Soup, food preparation including sprouting and making cultured foods, internal cleansing, food combining, eating techniques, growing sunflower greens and wheatgrass, composting and much more.

In this second week, we expand and deepen the knowledge gained in the Basics course. You will learn additional Living Foods preparation techniques and recipes for creating sauces and dressings, dehydrated foods, nut patés, desserts, and more. You will also learn menu planning, how to travel with Living Foods, and how to bring the program home with you. Please note: We strongly suggest that you take the Basics of the Living Foods Lifestyle® week before enrolling in this class. If you decide to take the second week first, you will be charged an additional orientation fee.

Of note: Although we highly recommend taking Basics of the Living Foods Lifestyle first, it is not required. We offer a special orientation class (there is a small fee for this) in the Living Foods philosophy, use of wheatgrass and internal cleansing which will bring you up to speed.
In this one-week course, we combine the most essential classes from the Living Foods Lifestyle® Two Week Certification Program into an intensive and valuable one week learning experience. You learn the basics of the lifestyle and receive plenty of knowledge to incorporate this program into your daily life. A Certificate of Completion is presented with this course.
