Can I visit the Institute anytime, or do I have to come on during specific program for a whole program?
You will receive the greatest benefit if you complete a program; however, if you can only attend part of a program, that can be arranged. If you can only participate for one week of a two-week program, it’s best to come for the first week. Graduates can come anytime.

If I come for one week of a two-week program, can I complete the second week later and receive certification?
You may receive certification if you complete all classes within one year.

I am allergic to wheat. Can I drink wheatgrass juice?
People with wheat allergies are usually sensitive to gluten found in the wheat berry. Wheatgrass does not contain gluten. Most people who are allergic to wheat have no problems with wheatgrass juice.

I am allergic to wheat. Can I drink Rejuvelac?
Some people who are allergic to wheat do not have reactions to rejuvelac; however, some people do. We also make Rejuvelac with cabbage for people who can’t drink the wheat Rejuvelac.

How much wheatgrass juice should I drink?
We recommend that you start with a small amount — one half to one ounce – and increase the amount slowly.

I have candida. Can I eat Living Foods?
Yes; however you may need to avoid fruits and Rejuvelac, depending on your condition. Our kitchen staff can prepare energy soup without rejuvelac if you notify them. We prepare cabbage Rejuvelac for students with wheat allergies or other conditions like candida that don’t tolerate wheat Rejuvelac.

Do you have an exercise room?
We have a room people can exercise in, but we don’t have an exercise room.

What is included in the tuition?
Tuition includes classes, meals, accommocations, and a ride to and from either the Aguadilla or Mayaguez airport.

Do you have doctors on staff?
We are a school, not a clinic. We do not have doctors on staff. However, there are local doctors who are available in the case of an emergency.

Will I be able to see the ocean from my room?
Most of the apartments have ocean views. Ocean view apartments are subject to availability. One of the private rooms has an ocean view.

Is all your food organic?
All the nuts, seeds and grains are organic. All our wheatgrass and sprouts are organic. We are growing some organic greens for salads. However, not all our fruits and vegetables are organic.

Do you have air conditioning?
Two of the apartments in the Moret Oceanside Apartments have air conditioning in the bedroom. In all the other quarters and common spaces we rely on overhead fans and standing fans.

What is the difference between the Luis Seaview and the Moret Oceanside apartments?
The Moret Oceansides are older buildings leased from a local landlord. All the apartments are one bedroom, with various bed configurations to accommodate families and others who want to share apartments. The Moret Oceanside Apartments are cold water flats. (There is hot water in the showers, however.) Each of the apartments has a full bathroom and a half bathroom.

The Luis Apartments are more modern, and have hot water in all the faucets. Some apartments have one bedroom and others have two bedrooms. Each apartment has one full bathroom.
