Energy Soup class

Raw Food - Living Foods Lifestyle
Recipes:
Learn how to make Energy Soup, Rejuvelac™, dehydrated foods, seed cheese and seed yogurt, dressings, almond pate, veggie kraut, and desserts.

Composting and soil management:
Composting turns table scraps into nutrient-rich soil. Discover how to compost at home, even in a small apartment.

Colon care:
The colon is a major channel of elimination. Enemas cleanse the colon and increase the body's ability to release toxins as well as absorb nutrients from your food.

Digestive system:
Learn how your food is broken down and assimilated as it passes through the body as well as which foods help digestion and which foods inhibit digestion.

Dehydration lab:
Dehydrating food preserves enzymes and creates delicious treats that can satisfy cravings for cooked foods like crackers and cookies. Experiment with dehydration and take home your creations.

Dessert lab:
Make delicious ice cream from frozen fruit, amazing apple pie, and cakes.

Energy soup:
Energy soup is the cornerstone of the Living Foods Lifestyle. Roll up your sleeves and practice making it.

Our thoughts and attitudes can affect our physical health. Learn techniques to harness the power of positive thinking.

Value of wheatgrass:
Discover the benefits of drinking wheatgrass juice for healing and rejuvenation and learn how to use wheatgrass juice implants to restore balance to the colon.

Positive stroking:
At the culmination of the two-week program, students put into practice the positive thinking techniques they learned in the self-evaluation class.

Culturing:
Cultured foods are rich in enzymes, easy to digest, and nourish the body with friendly bacteria important to our intestines. Learn how to make veggie kraut and seed cheese.

Conscious eating:
Quoting the words of an Arabian teacher, "By eating we become sick. By digesting, we become healthy." Our instructors teach that the body and mind should be relaxed before and during the process of digesting foods. In doing this, we learn to eat with our whole selves, lovingly. Not distracted by television, books or talk, we focus on breathing, chewing, and the affirmation, "everything we eat creates health and harmony within us."

12-step program:
This class uses classic 12-step techniques to discuss issues with food.

Breathing / relaxation techniques:
Learn breathing techniques to assist in the healing process, and relaxation techniques to relieve stress and facilitate healing.

Planting greens and wheatgrass:
Receive instruction on growing wheatgrass and greens at home, and practice planting a tray that you'll harvest a week later.

Indoor gardening:
Become self sufficient by growing your own food at home. Even if you have a small apartment in the middle of a polluted city, you can create your own corner full of vibrant energy from baby greens and wheatgrass.

Rejuvelac™:
This cultured drink is a crucial element of the Living Foods Lifestyle, used in such staples as energy soup and seed cheese. Make your own Rejuvelac™.

Skin / body care:
Your skin is the largest organ in your body. Discover how skin brushing aids in elimination of body waste. Learn how to use food to cleanse and nourish the skin.

Trampoline:
This simple form of exercise burns calories, trims the body, and stimulates circulation of the lymphatic system.

Communicating your new lifestyle:
Learn to communicate to your loved ones the transformation process you've undergone in order to gain support for your new lifestyle.

Travel and home preparation:
This class offers students practical suggestions on how to successfully integrate the Living Foods Lifestyle at home. Put a plan in place with a list of daily tasks to maintain the lifestyle.
