At the culmination of the two-week program, students put into practice the
positive thinking techniques they learned in the self-evaluation class.
Culturing:

friendly bacteria important to our intestines. Learn how to make
veggie kraut and seed cheese.
Conscious eating:
Quoting the words of an Arabian teacher, "By eating we become sick. By digesting, we become healthy." Our instructors teach that the body and mind
should be relaxed before and during the process of digesting foods. In
doing this, we learn to eat with our whole selves, lovingly. Not distracted by television,
books or talk, we focus on breathing, chewing, and the affirmation, "everything
we eat creates health and harmony within us."
12-step program:
This class uses classic 12-step techniques to discuss issues with food.
Breathing / relaxation techniques:
Learn breathing techniques to assist in the healing process, and relaxation techniques to relieve stress and facilitate healing.
Planting greens and wheatgrass:
Receive instruction on growing wheatgrass and greens at
home, and practice planting a tray that you'll harvest a week later.
Indoor gardening:
Become self sufficient by growing your own food at home. Even if you have a small apartment in the middle of a polluted city, you can create your own corner full of vibrant energy from baby greens and wheatgrass.
Rejuvelac™:
This cultured drink is a crucial element of the Living Foods Lifestyle, used in such

Skin / body care:
